As an introduction Kate has chosen some her favourite pieces from our recent Jewellery auctions and explains why they did so well.
Art Deco Period Pieces
The elegance of the Art Deco period will always be a favourite. It is not surpurising that period pieces from the 1920s and 1930s consistently attract attention and realise strong prices.
So much to choose from in the world of coloured stones, from luscious emeralds to sapphires in classic velvety blue and fancy yellow hues.
Pearls, especially all-natural saltwater examples with no signs of treatment, are a classical choice and are increasing in value as freshwater pearls become more widely available. The delicate shades of pink, white and grey-to-purple are particularly sought after
Kate will be based at our new gallery at 22 Connaught Street in London and will be visiting clients' homes & offices, so why not pop by or drop Kate a line to make an appointment for a no-obligation valuation.
