Vintage posters remain hugely popular amongst collectors particularly those depicting travel and sports and entertainment from a bygone age. We are pleased to announce a partnership with Vintage Poster specialists Tomkinson Churcher. With over 30 years combined experience, Nicolette Tomkinson and Sophie Churcher are international experts in the field of Vintage Posters. Together we will offer a series of specialist vintage auctions and exhibitions, in both Edinburgh and London, throughout the year.
Early each year, to coincide with the European ski season, we will present at auction a selection of vintage ski posters. A chance to present to enthusiasts of the world’s foremost winter sports an extensive selection of vintage posters depicting the action on the slopes and stunning mountain scenery, capturing an era of glamour and graphic style by renowned graphic artists such as Alex Walter Diggelmann, Martin Peikert and Roger Broders
In July 2018 our London Gallery hosted the selling exhibition 'Between the Lines: Vintage London Transport & Recreation Posters' featuring work by Edward McKnight Kauffer, Misha Black, John Rowland Baker and Frank Henry Mason. A selection of vintage railway posters including The Night Scotsman by Robert Bartlett featured at our decorative arts auction in Edinburgh on April 3.
