Footnote
Note: Simon Studion is best known for his work Naometria, a long manuscript work on prophecy which reported the proceedings of the Militia Crucifera Evangelica, assembled under his auspices, and regarded as a forerunner of the Rosicrucians.
Origo Vera is an account of his archaeological excavations at the Roman fort he discovered in Benningen am Neckar. This work appears unpublished, but a similar manuscript to the above is in the Landsbibiothek Stuttgart.
