Note: Born in Turkey Amédée de Caranza is known for his elegant Art Nouveau works in ceramics and glass, which take inspiration from Japanese designs and an interest in Islamic art. Between 1903 and 1906 he was working as the artistic director at Henri Copillet & Cie in Noyon in northern France where he first experimented with the manufacture of his designs in glass.
