Footnote
Andrei Gorianov carried on the workshop of Fabergé workmaster Wilhelm Reimer after his death in c.1898. Reimer was born in Pernau, Estonia and at one time was the senior workmaster for Fabergé, making small enamelled and gold and silver objects. Gorianov ran his own workshop, acting as an 'occasional supplier' for Fabergé (von Habsburg, G., Fabergé: Imperial Craftsman and his World, London 2000, p. 288).
