France, the work contains the usual elements with the addition of the Seven Prayers of St Gregory; the Calendar and Litany include saints venerated in northern France and Flanders, six leaves of the Calendar (January-June) are missing, as are the opening leaves of Prime, Vespers and Compline in the Hours of the BVM and the opening leaves of the Hours of the Cross and the Penitential Psalms, except for those in the Calendar, the missing leaves probably contained miniatures; decoration consists of partial borders throughout, two historiated initials and seven miniatures
Footnote
Note: Two of the miniatures (both rather rubbed) depict the Three Living and the Three Dead, and the Mass of St Gregory.
