Note: Delaherche was a pioneer of the Art Nouveau style in Paris whose work was exhibited widely with the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, International Exhibitions and the annual Salon in Paris. In 1896 he moved from Paris to the north of France, Armentieres, where he went on to produce plain and robust works inspired by Oriental and Greek pottery in the manner of the traditional Beauvais style.
