The following four lots were collected by a Scottish businessman whilst working in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 60s. A number of these pieces may have been gifts from prominent families or heads of business. The bulk of the collection was sold at Lyon & Turnbull's Asian Works of Art sales in November 2017 and March 2018, featuring a large reverse glass painting of a young woman dressed as a shepherdess as one of the highlights.

For comparison, see a signed 'fisherman in landscape' plaque by Wang Yeting, sold by Bonhams' Hong Kong on 30th May 2017, lot 128.
