the lock of European form signed W.PARKER, inlaid with gold (top of cock missing) with safety slide, trigger guard decorated en suite, the long rifled barrel inlaid with gold foliate scrolls at the breech and at the muzzle, shaped as a grotesque monster’s head with opal eyes, held in place by four ornate silver bands, the full hardwood stock with shaped butt is decorated at the breech with two leaf shaped panels of blue enamel with two similar panels either side of the stock, with original touch hole prickers and a swab on three fine chains
