Note: Mortlach distillery is the oldest distillery to be established in Dufftown, a town in the Speyside region that once had seven distilleries. It is known as the 'Beast of Dufftown' for the intensity and muscular complexity of the spirit it produces. This is clearly matured in sherry casks given the dark reddish tones of the whisky.
Tasting notes: Characteristic notes of raisins, figs and plums. Balanced with oak and perfume notes. Dry on the palate and a medium finish that fades off the tongue.
