Lyon & Turnbull are delighted to announce the sale by auction of the contents of Old Battersea House: the London home of the Forbes family, the famous American publishers and patrons of the arts. The house contains one of the finest private collections of Victorian paintings, alongside good antique furniture and works of art, and an impressive collection of Royal memorabilia. The sale will be viewed in Old Battersea House 14th-16th October and then moved to our Edinburgh saleroom for viewing 28th-31st October prior to the sale on Tuesday 1st November in Edinburgh.
