Charity Valuation Day | The Hill House | Helensburgh
To celebrate its 20th anniversary year, the Lomond & Argyll Decorative and Fine Art Society is teaming up with The National Trust for Scotland and Lyon & Turnbull to hold an Art & Antiques Valuation Day for the public at The Hill House in Helensburgh.
On Saturday, 25 March, The Hill House will host a team of specialists from Lyon & Turnbull to carry out valuations of art and artefacts. Anyone from in and around Helensburgh will be able to bring their treasures to the house and have the experts cast their professional eye over them. Fake or fortune, good, better, best - no doubt there will be a few surprises!
Charges apply per quantity of items and the proceeds from the event will go towards the The National Trust for Scotland’s conservation of The Hill House, Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s domestic masterpiece. The house itself will be open from 10:00am with the tearoom and shop available at the same time. Start checking out your attic now!
