Lyon & Turnbull’s Jewellery & Watch department holds three specialist sales a year, early spring, summer and just before Christmas, selling a variety of antique, modern and contemporary jewellery. We pride ourselves on our diverse range of marketing events with individuals, companies and societies, run alongside our sales, designed to showcase our clients items at their best and to a wide range of potential buyers. We regularly showcase items in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and our affiliate auction house Freemans in Philadelphia, USA.

Recent successful sales include a contemporary natural fancy yellow and colourless diamond set cluster ring sold for £30,000; An impressive emerald and diamond cluster necklace  sold for £28,000 and recently an early 20th century Russian gold mounted sapphire and diamond set compact sold for £15,000, most probably a gift with royal provenance. We also regularly offer a wide selection of watches, including a recent sale of an Parmigiani gentleman’s 18ct gold chronograph sold for £9,600; modern watches being very much an up and coming collectors market for the discerning gentleman.
