We currently hold four Fine Antiques and four Interiors sales, spread throughout the year, and are thus able to offer a wide variety of goods for sale, from early furniture to more esoteric curios.

Lyon & Turnbull are constantly developing this strong and vibrant department, which has established itself as a premier location for the sale of good quality antique furniture, works of art and clocks.  The department has recently been strengthened by the international appointment of Douglas Girton as Head of Department, previously based with our sister auction house Freeman’s of Philadelphia.

We have developed a good reputation for the selling of collections, small and large, and the sale of full or part house contents. We pride ourselves on the marketing focus we can bring to bear and always aim to promote our client’s goods to the fullest. If a client wishes, we can feature good selected items from their homes as important sections within our fine sale catalogues, with appropriate catalogue notes and interior and exterior shots where required.
